Glenn Overschmidt, Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Sullivan Bank’s Union branch stated, “We are pleased to announce that Devin Arand has been appointed as a Loan Officer at our Union location. Devin will be assisting customers with all types of financing through consumer, mortgage and business loans. We are excited to have Devin as part of our lending team.”
Arand came to work for Sullivan Bank back in 2011 as a teller. After leaving town to finish college, he started back with the bank in 2015, working as a loan coordinator, eventually becoming a loan officer. Arand stayed in this role until December of 2019. At that point, he decided to pursue a new career opportunity, but has since returned to his home-town community. He is a 2011 graduate of Union High School and has lived in Union for most of his life. He is currently a member of the Union Kiwanis Club and enjoys doing volunteer work in the community whenever he can. “It’s great to be back with Sullivan Bank, a company who has treated me so well over the years,” said Arand. “Nothing compares to working in the community in which you live and working for people you enjoy being around every day, so I’m excited to jump back into the role.”
